From the 1980s onwards, visual artists would regularly meet in Lubenec in the local community centre, and the witness (left, at the head of the table) took an active part in the gatherings.

The North Bohemian artists called their regular meetings in Lubenec the Evenings of Invention and School of Artistic Thinking

The witness's daughter Jitka (pictured) has an artistic talent like her mother and creates stained glass artwork.

In the 1980s, prominent art theorists of the time came to Lubenec for art events and lectured, including Igor Zhoř, pictured right.

The exhibition in Lubenec in 1988 featured a work by Ivan Kafka titled "The Shaky Peak" which, like others, carried a hidden meaning referring to the collapsing communist regime.
