Scouting has taught me thoroughness
Jiří Spousta, nicknamed Juraj among the Scouts, was born November 23, 1921 in a family of five children. He was introduced to scouting in 1938 thanks to his friends and in a short time he become the troop’s lead deputy. The troop was disbanded after the Nazi ban on scouting. Jiří moved to Moravia after the war to work. He continued to be active among local Old Scouts. He married in 1950 and has not been involved with scouting since. He has two children, and although now retired, he still helps his son with administrative work in his company.
